Purpose of the workshop
In conjunction with EOSC-5B Projects Training and Skills Task Force, FAIRsFAIR is organising a workshop on "Training Resource Catalogue Interoperability". FAIRsFAIR and the EOSC 5B projects have a shared interest in making training resources FAIR, and many of the projects are developing catalogues of training resource. The workshop will bring together interested parties to discuss and share approaches, challenges and identify common goals.
Note: Participation on this workshop is only by invitation.
Workshop Goals
- Share status updates from relevant Task Forces of the EOSC WG Skills and Training, EOSC-5 projects, and RDA ETHRD-IG relating to cataloguing of training material;
- Understand how projects that are aiming to offer publicly accessible training resource catalogues intend to make the metadata harvestable and FAIR, using what standards and harvesting/ publishing mechanisms, and what policies for selecting, curating and updating their metadata;
- Aim to find agreement on practical collaborative steps towards interoperability between catalogues, to make training resources FAIRer for our target groups and stakeholders.
A series of lightning talks will be followed by an interactive Q&A and discussion session.
