"Training will be an important element of the further development and evaluation of EOSC. This hands-on workshop will reach a tangible result with proposed Rules of Participation for training in EOSC and practical guidance for training service providers in EOSC"  - DANS organisation committee

With the financial support of the EOSC Secretariat project, and in cooperation with EUDAT, EGI and OpenAIRE, FAIRsFAIR project coordinator DANS has organised a collaborative workshop on the Rules of Participation for training in EOSC. The workshop will take place at the facilities of the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Obviously, training will be an important element of the future development and evolution of the EOSC. With new EOSC (INFRAEOSC) calls on the horizon, and a new EOSC working group on Skills and Training to be established in 2020, now seems the appropriate moment to bring trainers together to discuss how to improve the quality, discoverabilty, and accessibility of EOSC training and make learning resources as easy as possible to reuse.

Target Audience: Trainers, or training coordinators, within the EOSC projects and associated organisations.
