The FAIRsFAIR journey introduced solutions for FAIR implementation across use cases, processes, needs and phases. While there is no one-fit-all solution, many use cases have drawn a possible way towards interoperability. 

Joy Davidson and Angus Whyte, from Digital Curation Center (DCC) and Leader of FAIRsFAIR FAIR Policy and Practices WP, assessed the policy and practice landscape, as well as provided support to guide necessary changes at funding body, repository and organisational levels to support increased production and use of FAIR data

How do we ensure a FAIR sustainable EOSC ecosystem? How can we ensure that the value we have created, built by, for and endorsed by the communities it serves remains valuable and alive? Who will ensure that the essential resources needed to feed these services and infrastructure are not depleted?

On Thursday 26th of November the InfraEOSC-5 FAIR data and infrastructure Task Force, set-up by the projects in the INFRAEOSC-05-2018-2019 call: EOSC-synergy, EOSC-Pillar, EOSC-Nordic, NI4OS-Europe, ExPaNDS, FAIRsFAIR, and EOSCsecretariat.eu, organised a special edition of its usual monthly meeting to present to the European Commission the key work being carried out on the topic of FAIR data assessment and certification by the InfraEOSC-5 call funded initiatives. The outcomes of the session are presented in this report

Formally appointed on 3 June 2019, the experts meet periodically to provide guidance on FAIRsFAIR activities implementation. The last meeting was organised on 23 September where the HLAC provided target recommendations on FAIRsFAIR lines of action and reviewed FAIRsFAIR recent reports.

The recent open consultation on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda invited FAIRsFAIR and other European stakeholders and international bodies to contribute to the revisions to the document currently in place. An update of the SRIA will be presented at the EOSC Symposium this October. FAIRsFAIR took part in the open consultation by submitting a response which collected the input of the team members involved in the project.
