RoRI launches call for proposals to design new systems and software that encourage uptake of the FAIR principles

RoRI, the Research on Research Institute of Wellcome Trust, seeks partners to work with Wellcome Data Labs and FAIRsFAIR.  The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 16 October 2020, while the full proposal submission is by Wednesday 25 November 2020.

Between 29 April and 11 June 2020 FAIRsFAIR brought together representatives of the Working Groups of the EOSC Executive Board, INFRAEOSC5 projects, ESFRI clusters, and the FAIRsFAIR European Group of FAIR Champions to share information on the progress of their FAIR-oriented activities and to discuss commonalities and priorities. The Future of EOSC - Open Consultation

Today, 20 July 2020, the EOSC Executive Board has published an open consultation on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The consultation, which closes on 31st of August 2020, asks for the input of EOSC communities and beyond in setting out the future vision of the European Open Science Cloud.


FAIRsFAIR Data Object Assessment Metrics - Have Your Say

FAIRsFAIR has published seveteen minimum viable FAIRsFAIR Data Object Assessment Metrics for the systematic assessment of FAIR data objects. Community feedback on these metrics is urgently sought and can be offered via a dedicated web page which simplifies the process. The closing date for feedback is 31 December.


Repository Certification: Extended Requirements and Procedures. Comment on the report

Input is now sought on the report D4.2 Repository Certification Mechanism: Extended Requirements and Procedures which aligns the characteristics of FAIR digital objects and the repositories that enable FAIRness through the application of the CoreTrustSeal Trustworthy Data Repository Requirements and a capability/maturity evaluation approach.


Open consultation on the priorities of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda to begin 20th July

On 20th July, the EOSC Executive Board will open a public consultation aimed at defining the priorities of the future Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The input received via the consultation will be used to draft the SRIA 1.0 document that will be published before the end of the year to accompany the MoU which will be signed between the EOSC Association and the European Commission, to officially kick-off the EOSC co-programmed partnership.
