Elizabeth Newbold, from Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and a member of FAIRsFAIR, will do a 15min presentation entitled "What is FAIR?  & Open versus FAIR – what’s the difference?". The session invites scientists to think about what Open and FAIR mean in practice and the implications of both for data. It also aims to give tothe scientists a chance to experience differentiating between the two in practical real-life scenarios that they might actually encounter.

On the 22nd September at 10:55-11:05 CEST, Linas Cepinskas from DANS (institute that coordnates FAIRsFAIR) will give a short presentation about the FAIR-Aware tool launched by FAIRsFAIR. Linas will do the presentation under the theme "Best of digital preservation 2020’, Stream: Research data.". This is a great opportunity to present the FAIR-Aware tool to a wide audience from digital preservation field, who will be able to assess their awareness regarding the requirements for making datasets findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) before uploading them into a data repository.
